United House is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to helping individuals and families overcome barriers, rebuild stability, and move forward with hope.
We serve people navigating reentry, recovery, relationship and family challenges, employment barriers, and major life transitions. Through practical support, education, coaching, advocacy, and community partnerships, we help people access the tools and opportunities they need to build stronger, healthier, and more independent lives.
At United House, we believe lasting change happens when people are supported, not just in one area of life, but as a whole person.
Our Story
United House was founded with a heart for people who needed an opportunity to begin again.
Our work began by supporting individuals impacted by incarceration, recovery, and the difficult transition back into their families and communities. Through that work, we quickly learned that rebuilding a life involves much more than finding housing or employment.
Incarceration, addiction, financial hardship, family disruption, and other major life challenges rarely affect just one person. Their impact reaches spouses, children, relationships, careers, and entire families.
That understanding shaped the United House of today.
While reentry and recovery remain an important part of our work, our mission has grown to support individuals and families facing a wider range of barriers. We provide practical resources, relational support, education, coaching, and connections to community services that help people move from instability toward greater confidence, independence, and hope.
We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to move forward, and sometimes, the right support at the right moment can change the direction of a life.

Employment can create financial stability, but people may also need education, encouragement, healthy relationships, recovery support, conflict resolution, or help navigating community resources.

A person's past or present circumstances do not have to determine their future. We help people identify possibilities, develop skills, and take practical steps toward greater stability and independence.

- Mediation & Conflict Resolution — Providing a constructive environment for addressing conflict and working toward practical solutions.
- Family Support — Helping families navigate difficult seasons, strengthen relationships, and connect with appropriate resources.
- Employment & Career — Résumé assistance, employment readiness, career support, and resources designed to improve economic stability.
- Education & Life Skills — Workshops, guidance, and practical learning opportunities that support personal growth and independence.
